Whenever, Forever
An Iskra Print Show at the Karma Birdhouse Gallery
May 2023
This show was a class effort, featuring many talented local artists that I felt lucky to connect with. I feel more proud of these works than I have of anything else I’ve made in a very long time, due to the laborious and unpredictable nature of screen printing. Getting something perfectly pulled or registered is one of the best feelings, and this show allowed us all to relish in that sensation together. Check out the Iskra Screen Printing studio here — it’s an amazing community of artists and worth the closer look.
Thanks to an Albany non-profit called Noteworthy Resources (check them out- they do amazing work in the Albany skate community and beyond) I was able to use their space for an independent showcase of artwork I’d made during the past few years. This opportunity opened everything up for me and really showed me what was possible in terms of bringing my art into a community. It went better than I could’ve possibly expected, all because I’m surrounded by the kindest and most wonderful people ever.
