My work with the UVM Foundation has given me the opportunity to find my place on a marketing team, where I can pitch ideas, illuminate written content using art, and create illustrations for video work.

25 Years

To celebrate 25 years of the Rubenstein Ecosystem Science Laboratory at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, I helped illustrate, design, and copy edit a book commemorating the lab’s research over recent years. The addition of several important research vessels to the Lab’s fleet has changed the game for students pursuing degrees in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology at UVM, and I was thrilled to contribute to telling their stories, as well as detailing the independent research conducted by the Lab’s director Dr. Jason Stockwell, former director Dr. Mary Watzin, and current staff such as Dr. Ellen Marsden. I am beyond grateful to the University of Vermont Foundation and the Rubenstein Lab staff for seeing my skills as valuable to the production of this project, and am excited to see it come to life!
